How to participate in a research project -

How do you feel about research? Interesting? The Canadian Touch Research Center (CTRC) is looking for three types of participants:

  1. You're a student or teacher and want to volunteer your time to massage subjects who've volunteered for a specific research project;

  2. You're a clinician and you'd like to apply a project where you work, alone or with colleagues;

  3. You're a student or researcher in a university context and you want to develop a research theme in the areas of touch or massotherapy

For more than two years, we've been working on developing new research protocols. Our researchers are focusing on the following topics, and several protocols are available for immediate implementation:

  1. Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

  2. Massage and fibromyalgia.

  3. Massage for breast cancer survivors.

  4. Massage for babies by their young single mothers.

  5. And more in progress.
