Internships

Internships take on many forms and are carried out early in the training process. This helps us provide you with clinical experience quickly, while encouraging the practice of techniques and humanistic approaches learned during the course. You'll be responsible for finding your own massage patients, a method that will encourage you to discuss your future profession and teach you to seek out potential clients - a great way to build future clientele. Added support is offered to foreign students. And, in the context of an internship, you'll benefit from a professional responsibility insurance cosigned by the Institute.

Depending on your chosen training, you'll have the chance to participate in internships outside of the Institute, including community projects. The participation of our students in sporting events, the performing arts, among the elderly, in research projects or in hospitals is greatly appreciated and also provides the students with positive visibility.

All internships are supervised by teachers and assistants from the Institute, the head of the research department or a representative from the Canadian Touch Research Center.
